Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Media Search Analyst to join our dynamic team, focusing specifically on Google Projects aimed at enhancing high search visibility. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in analyzing search trends, user behavior, and content performance across various Google platforms. You will develop strategies to optimize content for maximum organic reach and engagement, contributing directly to our clients’ success in the competitive digital landscape. This role requires a strong understanding of SEO principles, data analysis, and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement. You will work closely with content creators, marketing strategists, and data scientists to ensure our projects achieve unparalleled search prominence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify high-value search terms and trends.
- Monitor and analyze search performance metrics using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools.
- Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and traffic.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize content for search engines.
- Collaborate with content teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content creation and publishing workflows.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Google algorithm updates, SEO trends, and industry best practices.
- Generate comprehensive reports on search performance, identifying successes and areas for improvement.
- Participate in client meetings to present findings and discuss strategic recommendations for Google Projects.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Experience with keyword research and content optimization techniques.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Google Ads or Google Analytics certifications.
- Experience with other search engines (e.g., Bing, Yahoo).
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
