Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Microsoft Sentiment Guru to join our Market Research team. This 100% remote role will focus on leveraging Microsoft’s advanced analytical tools and platforms to extract, analyze, and interpret sentiment data from various sources. The successful candidate will be instrumental in transforming complex data into actionable insights, helping our clients understand public opinion, brand perception, and market trends. You will work closely with market research strategists, data scientists, and client teams to design sentiment analysis frameworks, implement cutting-edge methodologies, and deliver compelling reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement sentiment analysis methodologies using Microsoft technologies (e.g., Azure Cognitive Services, Power BI, custom scripts).
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from social media, customer reviews, news articles, and other textual sources.
- Develop and refine sentiment models, ensuring accuracy and relevance to client objectives.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of sentiment data, identifying key trends, patterns, and insights.
- Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and actionable reports and presentations for clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sentiment insights into broader market research strategies.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, and sentiment analysis tools, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Provide expert consultation on sentiment analysis best practices and strategies to internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in sentiment analysis and natural language processing (NLP).
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services (Text Analytics, Language Understanding).
- Experience with data visualization tools, especially Microsoft Power BI.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
- Strong understanding of market research principles and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Linguistics, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience with other sentiment analysis tools or platforms.
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and scripting.
- Previous consulting experience or experience working with diverse clients.
- Knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.
