Job Description
Are you passionate about cars and eager to kickstart a career in the automotive industry? Vertu Motors is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Mobile Car Valeter Trainee to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with no prior experience to learn the ropes of professional car valeting, working independently and as part of a supportive team. You will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are presented to the highest standards, delighting our customers with your meticulous work. This role offers comprehensive training and the chance to significantly boost your earnings through an attractive commission structure based on every car you valet. Key Responsibilities
- Conducting thorough interior and exterior valeting of a variety of vehicles to Vertu Motors' high standards.
- Travelling to various customer locations, dealerships, or service centers within the Tyne and Wear area.
- Utilizing specialized cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively.
- Managing personal schedule and routes efficiently to meet customer demands.
- Providing excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction with every valet.
- Maintaining equipment and vehicle in clean and working order.
- Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and company policies.
- Accurately recording completed jobs and materials used.
Required Skills
- Full UK Driving License (clean record preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physical fitness required for manual tasks (bending, lifting, standing for extended periods).
- Enthusiasm to learn and develop new skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
- Basic knowledge of car care products and techniques.
- Experience with mobile work or field service roles.
- Demonstrated interest in automotive detailing.
