Job Description
Join the dynamic team at Shine Factory as a Mobile Detailing Offsider, specializing in exterior hand-wash. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about cars, possess an keen eye for detail, and are eager to provide top-tier service directly to our clients. As an Offsider, you will work alongside our experienced detailers, learning the best practices in automotive care and contributing directly to our reputation for quality. No prior experience is required, as we provide comprehensive training for motivated individuals. If you are reliable, hardworking, and ready to make vehicles sparkle, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead detailers with all aspects of exterior vehicle hand-washing and detailing.
- Perform thorough pre-rinsing, soap application, and hand-washing techniques on a variety of vehicle types.
- Execute tire and wheel cleaning, including dressing.
- Conduct exterior surface preparation, including bug and tar removal.
- Ensure streak-free drying of all exterior surfaces using appropriate towels and methods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the mobile detailing unit.
- Safely handle and apply detailing chemicals and equipment.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and quality standards.
- Provide friendly and professional interaction with clients when required.
Required Skills
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's License and a clean driving record (for transport to sites).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in car washing or detailing (even informal).
- Familiarity with various car care products and techniques.
- Passion for automobiles and their aesthetics.
- Customer service experience.
