Job Description

Virgin Pulse is seeking a passionate and experienced Music Wellness Coordinator to join our remote team. This role is crucial for developing and implementing music-based wellness programs designed specifically for our corporate clients and their employees. You will leverage the power of music to reduce stress, improve focus, boost mood, and enhance overall well-being within a professional context. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of music therapy principles, corporate wellness trends, and the ability to design engaging, evidence-based interventions that are scalable and impactful for a diverse workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging music wellness programs for corporate clients, focusing on stress reduction, mood enhancement, and cognitive benefits.
  • Curate music playlists and create guided audio experiences tailored to various corporate wellness objectives (e.g., focus, relaxation, energy, mindfulness).
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., content, client success, product) to integrate music wellness into broader platform offerings and client strategies.
  • Conduct research and stay informed on the latest trends and scientific findings in music therapy, sound healing, and corporate wellness.
  • Develop educational materials, workshops, and webinars to educate employees and clients on the benefits and practical application of music for well-being.
  • Track program participation and gather feedback to measure impact and continuously improve offerings.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to clients on implementing and maximizing the effectiveness of music wellness initiatives.
  • Ensure all program content aligns with Virgin Pulse's brand standards and wellness philosophies.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in developing and delivering music-based wellness programs, preferably in a corporate or group setting.
  • Strong understanding of music theory, psychology of music, and its impact on human well-being.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Proficiency in creating engaging digital content (audio guides, presentations).
  • Demonstrated project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with corporate wellness platforms and employee engagement strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music Therapy, Psychology, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Certification in Music Therapy (MT-BC) or a related wellness discipline.
  • Experience with content management systems or learning management systems.
  • Prior experience working with enterprise-level corporate clients.
  • Knowledge of various musical genres and their therapeutic applications.
