Job Description
We are actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Nanny to join a wonderful family in Wesley Chapel, Florida. This role offers an incredible opportunity for long-term commitment and comes with a generous sign-on bonus for the right candidate. You will be responsible for the comprehensive care and development of their two children, aged 3 and 6, fostering a positive, engaging, and structured environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about childcare, highly organized, proactive, and possesses a warm, nurturing demeanor. This is an on-site position requiring a consistent presence within the family’s home.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full-time, attentive care for two children, aged 3 and 6, during designated hours.
- Plan and execute age-appropriate educational activities, games, and outings to stimulate development.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met.
- Assist with homework and school projects for the older child.
- Manage children's laundry and maintain tidiness of children's rooms and play areas.
- Transport children to and from school, appointments, and extracurricular activities safely.
- Implement consistent routines for meals, naps, and bedtime.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents regarding children's progress and daily activities.
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and maintain a safe home environment.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable professional nanny or childcare experience.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain immediately).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to create engaging and educational activities for children.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish, French).
- Experience with child-led play and Montessori principles.
- Non-smoker.
