Job Description
Centura Health is seeking a diligent and reliable Evening Office Janitor to maintain a clean, organized, and quiet environment at our administrative offices in Lakewood, Colorado. This Full-Time role is essential for supporting our staff and ensuring our facilities reflect the high standards of cleanliness and professionalism we uphold in our healthcare network. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently during evening hours to perform a variety of cleaning tasks. This position offers a stable work schedule in a supportive environment, contributing directly to the well-being of our entire organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and waxing floors.
- Empty wastebaskets and recycle bins, ensuring proper waste disposal.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
- Dust and wipe down all surfaces, including desks, shelves, and window sills.
- Clean windows and glass surfaces as needed.
- Restock supplies in restrooms and kitchenettes.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Ensure all assigned areas are clean and presentable for the next business day.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines established by the company.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 lbs, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe application.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a janitorial or custodial role.
- Knowledge of green cleaning practices and environmentally friendly products.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
