Job Description
Are you a high school student looking for a fun and engaging part-time job that fits your weekend schedule? Dave & Buster’s in Jersey City is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as an Arcade Host. In this role, you’ll be the heart of our arcade, ensuring guests have an incredible experience playing games, winning prizes, and making lasting memories. This is a perfect opportunity for someone energetic, friendly, and eager to work in a vibrant entertainment setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor as they enter the arcade.
- Assist guests with game operation, redemption prizes, and Power Card issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe arcade environment.
- Restock prize counter items and ensure displays are appealing.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues with arcade games (e.g., stuck tickets).
- Engage with guests, encouraging participation and ensuring a positive experience.
- Answer guest questions about games, promotions, and facility offerings.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security guidelines.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
- Basic problem-solving skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must be enrolled in high school or equivalent educational program.

- Ability to work flexible weekend hours (Friday evenings, Saturdays, Sundays).
