Job Description

We are seeking a highly reliable and detail-oriented Pharmaceutical Courier for a high-security, 100% indoor position within our Pueblo, Colorado facility. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the secure, efficient, and accurate internal transportation of sensitive pharmaceutical products and controlled substances within a climate-controlled warehouse and distribution environment. This is not an external delivery role; all work is performed strictly indoors. You will operate specialized equipment to move inventory, maintain meticulous records, and adhere to strict security protocols to safeguard valuable medical supplies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and securely transport pharmaceutical products, including controlled substances, between designated areas within the facility.
  • Operate various material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, push carts) to move inventory efficiently.
  • Verify product counts and integrity against manifests and inventory systems for accuracy.
  • Maintain strict adherence to all company security policies, regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, DEA), and safety procedures.
  • Document all movements and transactions accurately using internal tracking systems.
  • Report any discrepancies, security breaches, or damaged goods immediately to supervisory staff.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of products to maintain quality and integrity.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to facilitate smooth workflow.
  • Participate in routine security audits and inventory checks as required.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or security-focused role.
  • Proven ability to operate material handling equipment safely and effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding and commitment to security protocols and confidential handling of sensitive materials.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency for data entry and inventory management.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a pharmaceutical, healthcare, or highly regulated industry.
  • Previous experience with controlled substances handling and documentation.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, WMS).
  • Current or previous security clearance/background check experience.
