Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Podcast Audio Producer to join our dynamic team. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexible work-from-home options, supporting our commitment to a modern work environment. This role is crucial in bringing high-quality audio content to our listeners, from initial recording to final master. You will work on diverse projects, ensuring superior sound quality and an engaging listening experience across our growing podcast portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce, edit, and mix podcast episodes to professional broadcast standards.
- Manage audio post-production, including sound design, music integration, and mastering.
- Collaborate effectively with hosts, producers, and content creators to define and achieve sound goals and creative vision.
- Troubleshoot and proactively resolve audio issues, ensuring pristine sound quality for all productions.
- Maintain an and efficient system for audio assets and project files.
- Stay current with emerging podcasting trends, audio technologies, and industry best practices to continuously improve our offerings.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in professional audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Logic Pro X).
- Strong understanding of audio principles, mixing, and mastering techniques.
- Demonstrated experience in podcast production or similar audio storytelling.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Audio Production, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with remote recording setups and optimizing audio for various listening environments.
- Knowledge of various podcast hosting platforms and RSS feed management.
- A compelling portfolio of previous podcast production work.
