Job Description
Are you a talented vocalist with a passion for spreading holiday cheer? Macy’s in New Port Richey is seeking enthusiastic and skilled Professional Carolers for our seasonal holiday events. This is a temporary, fast-paced opportunity to bring joy to our customers and create a festive atmosphere within our store and at local holiday gatherings. If you love to sing and have a reliable, professional demeanor, we want you to be a part of our holiday magic!
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a repertoire of traditional and contemporary holiday carols, a cappella or with provided backing tracks.
- Engage with customers and store visitors, enhancing their shopping experience with festive music.
- Maintain a professional appearance and cheerful attitude during all performances.
- Adhere to scheduled performance times and locations within the store and at potential off-site events.
- Collaborate with other carolers or event staff as required to ensure smooth execution of performances.
- Be a positive ambassador for Macy's brand during the holiday season.
Required Skills
- Strong vocal talent and ability to sing in tune, often in a group setting.
- Proficiency in a diverse range of holiday carols and songs.
- Excellent stage presence and ability to engage an audience.
- Reliability and punctuality for all scheduled performances.
- Ability to stand and perform for extended periods.
- A cheerful and enthusiastic personality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a caroler or performer in a public setting.
- Ability to harmonize and sight-read music.
