Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and customer-focused Public Restroom Attendant to join our facilities team at MGM Springfield. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, tidiness, and full stocking of our public restrooms throughout the property. Your dedication to maintaining a pristine environment will directly enhance the guest experience, reflecting our high standards of hospitality. This position offers the opportunity for tips from appreciative guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly inspect and clean all assigned public restrooms, including floors, toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures.
- Restock all restroom supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and air fresheners, as needed.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness standards throughout your shift, addressing spills or issues promptly.
- Respond courteously and efficiently to guest inquiries or requests regarding restroom facilities.
- Report any maintenance issues (e.g., leaky faucets, broken dispensers) to the appropriate department immediately.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, contributing to a positive experience.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleanliness.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift supplies throughout a shift.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a custodial or hospitality role.
- Familiarity with various cleaning products and equipment.
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.
