Job Description
Join Canadian Tire as a Retail Merchandiser Trainee and embark on an exciting career path in retail. You will be responsible for traveling to various Canadian Tire store locations within the Burnaby and greater Metro Vancouver area, ensuring our retail spaces are optimized for customer experience and sales performance. Key Responsibilities
- Execute merchandising directives and planograms across designated Canadian Tire store locations.
- Ensure products are correctly stocked, priced, and displayed according to brand standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, identify potential stock issues, and communicate needs to store management.
- Collaborate with store teams to set up promotional displays and seasonal layouts.
- Collect feedback from store personnel regarding merchandising effectiveness and product performance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor.
- Travel regularly between assigned Canadian Tire stores within the specified region.
- Complete and submit regular reports on merchandising activities and store visits.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer proficiency.

- Prior experience in a retail environment (even part-time or seasonal).
