Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Roll-Off Truck Operator to join our team in the Denver metro area. In this stable, full-time role, you will be responsible for safely operating a heavy-duty roll-off truck to transport waste and recyclable materials. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to all DOT regulations, and the ability to provide exceptional service to our commercial, industrial, and residential customers. Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a roll-off truck to service industrial, commercial, and residential customers.
  • Haul and dump containers, ensuring proper placement and secure transportation.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment; complete daily vehicle inspection reports.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding vehicle operation and waste transportation.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records, including route sheets and work orders.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Perform minor routine maintenance and cleaning of the vehicle.
  • Promptly report any mechanical issues, safety concerns, or incidents to management.

Required Skills

  • Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
  • Clean driving record (Motor Vehicle Record)
  • Proficient ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
  • Strong understanding and adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
  • Physical ability to climb, lift, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks required for the job
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience specifically operating roll-off trucks or similar heavy-duty waste collection vehicles
  • Knowledge of Denver metropolitan area routes and traffic patterns
  • Hazardous Material (HazMat) endorsement (not required, but a plus)
  • Familiarity with waste management industry practices and operational workflows
