Job Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Remote Spare Parts Tagger with a Mechanical AI Focus. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately identifying, classifying, and tagging mechanical spare parts using our advanced AI-driven platforms. Your expertise will directly contribute to the training and improvement of our artificial intelligence systems, enabling more efficient inventory management, predictive maintenance, and streamlined operations across our global enterprise. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to impact cutting-edge technology from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and accurately categorize a wide range of mechanical spare parts based on detailed specifications, images, and technical drawings.
- Utilize internal AI-powered tagging tools and platforms to annotate part features, attributes, and relationships.
- Ensure high levels of data accuracy and consistency in all tagging activities to optimize AI model performance.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers, AI specialists, and data scientists to refine tagging guidelines and improve system functionality.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of comprehensive part classification hierarchies and taxonomies.
- Provide feedback on tool usability and suggest improvements for the tagging process.
- Participate in quality control reviews of tagged data to ensure adherence to standards.
Required Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial components and machinery.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and classification.
- Proficiency with computer applications and digital data management tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with CAD software or interpreting engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with AI/Machine Learning concepts or data annotation processes.
- Previous experience in inventory management, parts logistics, or technical documentation.
- Experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
