Job Description

Join Sylvan Learning of Stockton as a Student Tutoring Assistant and make a real difference in the lives of local students. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist lead tutors with lesson preparation and classroom management.
  • Provide individualized or small group support to students in subjects such as Math, Reading, Writing, and Study Skills.
  • Help students understand concepts, complete assignments, and prepare for tests.
  • Foster a positive, encouraging, and productive learning atmosphere.
  • Monitor student progress and report observations to lead instructors.
  • Maintain a clean and organized learning environment.

Required Skills

  • Strong academic background, especially in Math, English, or Science.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
