Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Teleperformance Healthcare Data Clerk with a strong medical focus to join our fully remote team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining sensitive healthcare data, ensuring compliance with all relevant privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA). This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a foundational understanding of medical terminology and data handling within a healthcare context. You will play a vital role in supporting efficient healthcare operations from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input and update patient demographic, medical history, and treatment data into various healthcare systems.
  • Verify data for completeness and accuracy, identifying and correcting errors or inconsistencies.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with HIPAA and other data privacy regulations.
  • Process and organize medical records, ensuring they are accessible and properly categorized.
  • Communicate effectively with other team members to resolve data discrepancies or gather missing information.
  • Generate reports and summaries of data as required for operational and analytical purposes.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in data entry and strong typing skills (minimum 45 WPM).
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare data systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and maintain productivity in a remote environment.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or certification in Healthcare Administration, Medical Office Assisting, or a related field.
