Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Think Tank Associate to join our dynamic team in Greeley, CO. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to critical research, analysis, and thought leadership initiatives that inform strategic decision-making for our clients and the broader community. The Think Tank Associate will be instrumental in conducting in-depth research, developing compelling content, and supporting the dissemination of insights across various platforms. This position requires a curious mind, strong research skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality, impactful work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive qualitative and quantitative research on various industry trends, economic indicators, policy issues, and emerging technologies.
  • Analyze complex data sets and synthesize findings into clear, concise reports, presentations, and articles.
  • Develop and refine research methodologies to ensure accuracy, reliability, and relevance of findings.
  • Collaborate with senior researchers, consultants, and subject matter experts to shape research agendas and project deliverables.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to internal teams and external stakeholders, effectively communicating complex ideas.
  • Monitor news, publications, and industry developments to identify new research opportunities and challenges.
  • Assist in the preparation of grant proposals, funding applications, and partnership agreements.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and execution of thought leadership initiatives and events.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in research, data analysis, and report writing, preferably in a think tank, consulting, or academic setting.
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex information and draw insightful conclusions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency in research tools and methodologies (e.g., statistical software, survey design, literature reviews).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, intellectually stimulating environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Political Science, Public Policy, Business, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with specific industry sectors relevant to our clients (e.g., energy, healthcare, technology, public sector).
  • Demonstrated ability to publish research or contribute to significant thought leadership pieces.
