Job Description
Are you meticulous, energetic, and ready to play a key role in bringing joy to families? Target is looking for enthusiastic Toy Warehouse Sorters to join our dynamic team in New Port Richey, FL. In this fast-paced and fun environment, you’ll be responsible for accurately sorting, organizing, and preparing a wide variety of toys for shipment to our stores and online customers. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort and categorize incoming toy shipments according to established procedures.
- Inspect toys for quality, damage, or discrepancies before storage or outbound processing.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Prepare sorted items for packing, labeling, and transfer to designated areas.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity goals.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout a shift.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Reliable and punctual.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or sorting role.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
