Job Description
Are you looking to start a rewarding career in hospitality with no prior experience? Costa Coffee in Gravesend is seeking enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join our team as Trainee Baristas / Coffee Shop Assistants. This is an incredible opportunity for someone passionate about coffee and customer service to learn the ropes from the ground up. Key Responsibilities
- Receive comprehensive training on all aspects of barista skills, including coffee preparation, milk steaming, and drink customisation.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and process transactions efficiently using our POS system.
- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, as well as food items, following Costa Coffee's high standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming coffee shop environment, including front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
- Restock retail display items and supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Required Skills
- No previous experience required – full training will be provided.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of service.
- Reliability and punctuality.
