Job Description
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented User Intent Analyst to join our innovative AI and Data team. This fully remote role is critical in bridging the gap between human language and artificial intelligence, helping our AI systems better understand user needs, queries, and behaviors. You will analyze vast datasets of user interactions, identify patterns, categorize intent, and provide crucial insights that drive the improvement of our AI models and digital products. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and categorize user queries, search terms, and interaction data to identify underlying user intent.
- Develop and refine taxonomies and guidelines for intent classification, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Provide high-quality data labeling and annotation to train and validate machine learning models.
- Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and product managers to improve AI model performance and feature development.
- Identify trends and emerging patterns in user behavior and intent, presenting actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Perform quality assurance on labeled data and provide feedback to improve annotation processes.
- Stay current with best practices in natural language understanding (NLU) and AI intent analysis.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent understanding of grammar, syntax, and nuances of human language.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, basic SQL).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Cognitive Science, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience with intent classification, sentiment analysis, or data annotation platforms.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Prior experience working with large datasets and complex information.
