Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and passionate Vehicle Groomer to join our prestigious dealership in Derry/Londonderry. This is a unique opportunity to work with high-end, luxury vehicles, ensuring they maintain their immaculate appearance for our discerning clientele. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a genuine interest in luxury automotive care. You will be responsible for the thorough cleaning, detailing, and presentation of our new and used Porsche vehicles, preparing them to the highest standards for showroom display, customer collection, and service. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough interior and exterior cleaning of prestige vehicles, including washing, waxing, polishing, and buffing.
  • Detail vehicle interiors, including vacuuming, shampooing carpets, cleaning upholstery, and conditioning leather.
  • Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and presentation, identifying and addressing any imperfections.
  • Apply protective coatings and sealants to vehicle paintwork and interior surfaces.
  • Clean and treat wheels, tires, and undercarriage components.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing bay and equipment.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report needs to management.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations.
  • Prepare vehicles for showroom display, test drives, and customer handovers.
  • Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining impeccable quality.
  • Collaborate with the sales and service teams to ensure vehicles are ready as required.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in vehicle cleaning, detailing, or grooming, preferably within an automotive setting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Full valid UK driving license.
  • Knowledge of various cleaning products, tools, and techniques.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift light to moderate equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience detailing high-end or luxury vehicles.
  • Certification in automotive detailing or paint correction.
  • Familiarity with professional detailing equipment and chemicals.
  • Understanding of automotive paint types and care requirements.
