Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-time Optical Aide to join our weekend vision care team in Fayetteville, AR. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about customer service and interested in the optical field, providing essential support to our opticians and store staff. You will assist customers with frame selection, pre-testing procedures, and general store operations, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for every visitor. This position requires availability on weekends and a commitment to maintaining our high standards of patient care and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor upon arrival.
- Help customers with frame selection, providing advice on style, fit, and lens options.
- Conduct preliminary pre-testing procedures, including auto-refraction and visual field screenings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, ensuring displays are well-stocked and appealing.
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow efficiently.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and organizing eyewear and contact lenses.
- Process sales transactions and handle customer inquiries, both in-person and over the phone.
- Support opticians with administrative tasks and patient follow-ups as needed.
- Learn and adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to health and safety.
