Job Description
Ipsos is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Field Market Researchers to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for gathering authentic, high-quality data directly from consumers and businesses across various major cities in the USA. If you are a proactive individual with excellent interpersonal skills, eager to travel, and ready to start immediately (“Subito”), you will thrive in this fast-paced environment. You will be instrumental in collecting insights that directly shape strategic decisions for our diverse client base. This position requires frequent travel within designated regions and flexibility to adapt to varying project schedules and locations, contributing directly to our impactful research projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person interviews, surveys, and focus groups with individuals and businesses in diverse settings.
- Accurately record and document qualitative and quantitative data using provided tools and methodologies.
- Adhere strictly to research protocols, ethical guidelines, and data privacy regulations.
- Establish and maintain positive rapport with respondents to ensure high participation and data quality.
- Travel extensively to various assigned locations within major USA cities to conduct fieldwork efficiently.
- Ensure timely completion of data collection targets for each assigned project.
- Communicate effectively with project managers regarding fieldwork progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on research techniques and project specifics.
Required Skills

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data collection.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field.
- Proficiency in using mobile devices and basic data entry software.

- Willingness and ability to travel frequently across major USA cities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in market research, direct sales, community outreach, or customer service roles.
- Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sociology, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
- Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish) is a strong asset.
