Key Responsibilities
- Provide practical and emotional support to foster carers and fostered children.
- Conduct regular home visits to foster families, ensuring welfare and compliance with fostering standards.
- Assist in the assessment and review processes for foster carers.
- Advocate for the needs of children in care, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights upheld.
- Facilitate access to relevant services, resources, and support networks for foster families.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports in line with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in supervision, training, and team meetings to enhance professional development.
- Help organise and run support groups and events for foster carers and children.
