Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Virtual Veteran Support Representative to join our Public Sector team. This is a 100% remote position focused on providing essential support and resources to veterans. In this role, you will be a vital link, assisting veterans with inquiries, guiding them through benefit processes, and connecting them with appropriate services. You will work within a structured environment, utilizing technology to deliver high-quality support and maintain accurate records, all while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and empathy.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for veterans seeking assistance, providing clear and concise information.
- Guide veterans through various government programs, benefits, and support services available to them.
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all interactions and case statuses in relevant systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure veterans receive comprehensive support.
- Adhere to all federal guidelines, privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA), and company policies.
- Identify and escalate complex issues to senior representatives or specialists as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with veteran benefits and resources.
Required Skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong active listening and empathetic skills, particularly when interacting with individuals in sensitive situations.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, databases, and general office productivity tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.

- Problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to addressing veteran needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a customer service or support role, preferably within the public sector or non-profit environment.
- Knowledge of veteran benefits, programs, and government agencies (e.g., VA, DoD).
- Experience working remotely and familiarity with virtual collaboration tools.
- Familiarity with case management systems.
- Personal experience as a veteran or military spouse/family member is a plus.
