Job Description
This role is for a highly skilled Pinterest API Specialist to join our dynamic remote team. You will be instrumental in leveraging the Pinterest API to develop, integrate, and optimize solutions for our clients’ digital marketing campaigns. This is a crucial technical role that requires deep understanding of API functionalities, data structures, and best practices for social media integration. You will work closely with data scientists, developers, and marketing strategists to create impactful, data-driven Pinterest strategies, ensuring our clients maximize their presence and performance on the platform. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong technical background and a passion for social media innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement custom integrations with the Pinterest API for various client needs.
- Manage and optimize data flows between client systems and the Pinterest platform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues, ensuring seamless operation of integrations.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to identify opportunities for API-driven solutions to enhance campaign performance.
- Stay up-to-date with Pinterest API changes, updates, and best practices.
- Develop documentation and provide technical guidance to internal teams and clients.
- Monitor API usage and performance, implementing strategies for efficiency and scalability.
- Contribute to the development of innovative tools and strategies leveraging Pinterest data.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with the Pinterest API and its various endpoints (e.g., Ads, Organic, Analytics).
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Node.js, PHP) for API integration.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML data formats.
- Familiarity with OAuth 2.0 for authentication.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote, distributed team.
- Strong communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or a related technical field.
- Experience with other social media APIs (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).
- Knowledge of digital advertising platforms and campaign management.

- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for reporting on API-derived insights.
