Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a WFH EA Game Handler, specializing in written support and testing. This fully remote role involves providing exceptional written assistance to players of Electronic Arts (EA) games and contributing to the quality assurance process through detailed bug reporting and game testing. You will be at the forefront of player interaction, helping to resolve issues and improve game functionality for a global audience. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent written communication skills, and a strong passion for video games.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality written support to EA game players via email, chat, and ticketing systems, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and resolving complaints effectively.
- Replicate, document, and report bugs and other game-related issues in a clear and concise manner.
- Participate in game testing sessions, following test plans and identifying areas for improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of assigned EA game titles, features, and common issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including QA, development, and community management, to escalate and resolve complex player issues.
- Contribute to knowledge base articles and FAQs to empower players with self-service solutions.
- Adhere to all project guidelines, confidentiality agreements, and service level agreements.
Required Skills
- Exceptional written communication skills in English, with a strong grasp of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Proficiency in using digital communication tools (email, chat, ticketing systems).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Demonstrated passion for video games and familiarity with various gaming genres and platforms.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Basic technical troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer support, technical support, or quality assurance, especially within the gaming industry.
- Familiarity with EA game titles and their ecosystems.
- Experience using bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
