Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Software Support Technician to join our team in New Port Richey, Florida. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line technical support for pharmacy management software systems (e.g., RxConnect) via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues, including system errors, user access problems, and data integrity concerns.
  • Guide pharmacy staff through step-by-step solutions, ensuring clear and patient communication.
  • Document all support interactions, resolutions, and recurring problems in a ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff and software development teams to escalate complex issues and contribute to long-term solutions.
  • Assist in the deployment of software updates, patches, and new configurations.
  • Conduct basic training sessions for new pharmacy staff on software functionalities.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of pharmacy workflows and the critical role software plays in daily operations.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of basic computer hardware and software principles.
  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
