Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our legal team in Louisville, KY. This entry-level to junior role is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to build a career in the legal field. You will provide essential administrative support to attorneys and paralegals, ensuring the smooth operation of daily office activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a keen interest in legal processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize physical and electronic files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and presentations.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and conferences, including managing calendars.
  • Prepare and process expense reports, invoices, and other financial documents.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and deliveries.
  • Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and discretion.
  • Assist with basic legal research under attorney supervision.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
  • Adhere to strict confidentiality and ethical guidelines.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for legal staff.
