Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Delivery Offsider to join our dynamic delivery team in Burlington, VT. As a Delivery Offsider, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation and placement of high-quality furniture into our customers’ homes. This position requires significant heavy lifting, excellent teamwork, and a customer-focused attitude. Enjoy weekly pay and become an integral part of a company renowned for its quality and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the lead driver with the loading and unloading of furniture from delivery trucks.
- Carefully transport furniture into customers' homes, navigating various spaces and protecting property.
- Perform light assembly of furniture items as required at the delivery site.
- Inspect furniture for any damage prior to and after delivery, reporting discrepancies.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers at all times.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during deliveries.
- Assist with warehouse organization and vehicle maintenance checks as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the delivery team to ensure timely and successful deliveries.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting repeatedly (up to 75+ lbs) and physical demanding tasks.
