Job Description

Flywheel Digital is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Google TikTok Content Assistant to join our dynamic team. This entry-level role is perfect for someone who loves to stay online, understands the nuances of short-form video content, and is ready to learn and contribute to engaging campaigns across Google and TikTok. You’ll play a crucial role in supporting our content team, ensuring our clients’ messages resonate with their audiences and stay ahead of the curve.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the research and identification of trending topics, sounds, and challenges on TikTok and other social media platforms relevant to client industries.
- Support the content team in drafting and scheduling posts for Google Business Profiles and TikTok accounts, adhering to brand guidelines and content calendars.
- Monitor comments, messages, and audience engagement across assigned platforms, escalating relevant interactions to senior team members.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new content ideas, campaign strategies, and creative approaches for Google and TikTok.
- Help track content performance metrics and compile basic reports on engagement, reach, and other key KPIs.
- Stay updated with the latest features, algorithm changes, and best practices for Google and TikTok.

- Demonstrated proficiency and active engagement with TikTok and other major social media platforms.
- Strong understanding of current internet culture, memes, and viral trends.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (personal or professional) creating content for TikTok or YouTube Shorts.

- Basic knowledge of video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, in-app TikTok editor).
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree/course in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
