Job Description

This is a 100% remote opportunity, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Learn and effectively utilize various accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP).
  • Categorize transactions and ensure proper coding.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and senior bookkeepers to resolve discrepancies.
  • Adhere to all company policies and client confidentiality guidelines.

Required Skills

  • Strong foundational understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to learn new software quickly and adapt to new processes.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office setup.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
