Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Room Service Porter to join our dynamic team at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests receive prompt, professional, and delightful in-room dining experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms promptly and courteously.
- Set up and clear dining tables in guest rooms as required, maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Ensure all food and beverage items are presented correctly and to specified quality standards.
- Process guest payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of room service areas, trolleys, and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, front desk, and other hotel departments to ensure seamless service.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide exceptional, personalized customer service at all times.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and resolve any issues or complaints to their satisfaction.
- Adhere to all hotel safety, sanitation, and brand standards.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and remain calm in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

- Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull food trolleys and trays regularly.
