Job Description
We are urgently seeking highly motivated and reliable Warehouse Sorters to join our fast-paced operations in Brighton. This is an immediate start (‘Subito’) role for individuals who thrive in an active, results-driven environment. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately sort and prepare packages for dispatch, ensuring they reach our customers on time. This role requires excellent attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work efficiently without direct phone communication regarding applications – we prioritize direct, hands-on work. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort packages, parcels, and products according to designated routes and categories.
- Utilize scanning equipment to accurately track inventory and package movement.
- Load and unload materials, often involving lifting, bending, and carrying items up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures within the warehouse environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and productive operation.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity targets and deadlines.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry for extended periods.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to understand instructions and labels.
