Job Description
Whole Foods Market is excited to offer an entry-level opportunity for motivated 16-year-old teens to join our team as an Order Picker. This part-time role is perfect for individuals looking to gain valuable work experience in a dynamic retail environment. You will play a crucial part in ensuring our customers receive fresh, high-quality products by accurately and efficiently picking online orders. Full training on our voice technology systems will be provided, making this an excellent chance to learn new skills in a supportive setting. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack online grocery orders according to customer specifications.
- Utilize voice-activated picking technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy (full training provided).
- Maintain product quality and freshness standards during the picking process.
- Ensure proper temperature control for perishable items.
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
Required Skills
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies (e.g., voice picking systems).
- Basic physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
