Job Description

ITV Studios is seeking a dedicated Runner to join our fast-paced production teams in Southampton. You’ll be the backbone of our operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, from supporting on-set activities to managing office logistics. Key Responsibilities
- Provide essential on-set support to crew members, including fetching equipment, managing props, and assisting with general logistics.
- Perform administrative duties such as making photocopies, organising documents, and managing petty cash.
- Run errands both on and off-site, including picking up and dropping off equipment, scripts, and other materials.
- Assist with studio and location setup and breakdown, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Maintain clean and organised production offices and communal areas.
- Prepare and distribute refreshments for cast and crew, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
- Act as a central point of contact, relaying messages accurately and efficiently between departments.
- Support post-production teams with various tasks as required.
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude, anticipating needs and offering assistance without being asked.
Required Skills
- Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, comfortable interacting with various personalities.
- A proactive, 'can-do' attitude and willingness to take initiative.
- Ability to work long and irregular hours, often under pressure, in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and highly responsible.
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite).
- A full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
- Demonstrable passion for television and film production.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role, even voluntary or unpaid, on a film set, TV production, or live event.
- Completion of a media production course or relevant further education.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety protocols on a production set.
- First Aid qualification.
