Job Description
We are looking for a diligent and reliable Weekend Kitchen Porter to join our culinary team. In this part-time role, you will be crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring our chefs and culinary staff can operate efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including floors, work surfaces, and equipment.
- Assist with the unloading and storage of deliveries, ensuring proper rotation of stock.
- Empty bins and manage waste disposal according to hotel policies.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when required.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the Kitchen Manager.
- Ensure all cleaning chemicals are stored safely and used correctly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
