Job Description
Are you a passionate graduate student looking to break into the dynamic world of live music and entertainment? Live Nation Entertainment’s Summer Graduate Program offers a unique, paid internship opportunity designed to immerse you in the heart of our operations. Based in Tempe, Arizona, this program provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and a comprehensive understanding of the music industry. You will contribute to real-world projects, learn from industry leaders, and develop essential skills across various facets of our business, from event planning and marketing to artist relations and data analytics. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of live music events and tours.
- Support marketing and promotional campaigns for artists and events across various digital and traditional platforms.
- Conduct market research and analyze data to identify trends and inform business strategies.
- Provide administrative support to different departments, including operations, talent buying, and venue management.
- Contribute to the development of artist outreach strategies and foster relationships with industry partners.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and special projects designed to enhance fan experience and operational efficiency.
- Attend meetings and workshops to gain exposure to different areas of the music business.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program (Master's or PhD) related to Music Business, Arts Administration, Marketing, Business Management, Communications, or a related field.
- Demonstrated passion for music, live events, and the entertainment industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. during the internship period.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship or work experience in the entertainment, media, or related industries.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
