Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and skilled Handyman for Small Home Repairs to join our dedicated team in Gloucester. This immediate start position is perfect for someone with practical experience in general property maintenance and a strong commitment to quality workmanship. You will be responsible for a variety of repair and maintenance tasks across residential properties, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to high standards, contributing to tenant satisfaction and property upkeep.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform minor plumbing repairs (leaks, blockages, fixture replacements).
- Execute basic electrical tasks (light fixture installation, switch/socket repair).
- Carry out carpentry work (door repairs, shelving installation, minor furniture assembly).
- Address general building maintenance issues (patching walls, painting, sealing).
- Diagnose and resolve common household repair problems effectively.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and ensure safety standards.
- Communicate clearly with residents and colleagues regarding job status and requirements.
- Manage time effectively to complete work orders promptly.
- Ensure a clean and tidy workspace after job completion.
Required Skills
