Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Dispatcher to join our remote team. In this work-from-home role, you will be responsible for coordinating the efficient movement of packages and freight, ensuring timely deliveries, and optimizing routes for our delivery fleet. You will serve as a crucial link between drivers, customers, and operations, managing schedules, resolving issues, and maintaining clear communication. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to contribute to our global logistics network from the comfort of your home office.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and track active deliveries, providing real-time updates as needed.
- Dispatch drivers to new assignments and adjust routes based on dynamic conditions.
- Communicate effectively with drivers to relay instructions, address concerns, and provide support.
- Coordinate with customers to confirm delivery schedules and resolve potential issues.
- Utilize dispatch software and GPS tracking systems to optimize efficiency and identify bottlenecks.
- Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, delivery statuses, and incidents.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.
- Prepare daily reports on delivery performance, challenges, and resolutions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operational flow.
