Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Internal Auditor with a specific focus on administrative processes and data integrity to join our dynamic team in Milwaukee. In this role, you will be instrumental in evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, identifying risks, and recommending improvements across various administrative functions and data-driven systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive internal audits of administrative processes, including procurement, HR operations, facilities management, and general ledger reconciliation.
  • Perform detailed data analysis to identify anomalies, trends, and potential control weaknesses within various operational datasets.
  • Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls related to administrative functions and information systems.
  • Identify control gaps, non-compliance with policies, and operational inefficiencies.
  • Document audit findings, prepare clear and concise audit reports, and communicate recommendations to management.
  • Follow up on remediation efforts to ensure timely and effective implementation of corrective actions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of risk-based audit plans.
  • Collaborate with IT, Finance, HR, and other departments to understand processes and data flows.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging risks in internal audit and data security.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Internal Audit department.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or a related compliance role.
  • Strong understanding of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO).
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, advanced Excel, Tableau, Python for data manipulation).
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA, CIA, CISA, or other relevant professional certifications.
  • Experience auditing administrative processes in a large, multinational organization.
  • Familiarity with data governance principles and data quality frameworks.
  • Experience in the technology or entertainment industry.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
