Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading freight and packages onto and off of trucks and conveyor belts.
- Scanning and sorting packages accurately according to destination and shipping requirements.
- Operating material handling equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Working effectively as part of a team to meet daily operational goals.
- Performing other warehouse-related duties as assigned, including manual lifting and stacking.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs independently.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Basic communication skills.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Experience operating pallet jacks or forklifts (certification a plus).
- High school diploma or GED.
