Job Description
Join the Walmart team in Laredo, TX, where we are actively seeking dedicated individuals for a part-time Warehouse Associate role with a convenient school hours shift (9am-2pm). This position is perfect for parents or anyone seeking a stable, predictable work schedule that aligns with school drop-off and pick-up times. As a Mom-Friendly Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in our distribution center operations, contributing to the efficient processing and movement of merchandise. You will be responsible for various tasks that ensure products are ready for our stores and ultimately, our customers, all within a supportive and team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, unload, sort, and store incoming merchandise.
- Efficiently pick and pack products according to order specifications.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks or hand trucks, safely and efficiently (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure accuracy and prevent damage.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity goals and deadlines.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Ensure proper labeling and documentation for all handled goods.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 30 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Basic communication skills to interact with team members.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
