Job Description
Are you a passionate film and TV enthusiast with an eye for detail and a deep understanding of content categorization? Gracenote is seeking a dedicated Film & TV Show Rater to join our remote team, focusing specifically on content within the Netflix library. This role involves meticulously evaluating and categorizing a wide range of movies and series, ensuring accurate metadata and content tagging to enhance discovery and user experience for millions of viewers. This is a crucial role for individuals who thrive in a flexible, work-from-home environment and possess an intimate knowledge of streaming content.
Key Responsibilities
- Watch and analyze a diverse range of film and TV content available on Netflix.
- Accurately rate and tag content based on genre, themes, mood, storyline elements, and target audience.
- Apply detailed metadata standards and guidelines consistently.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with content information.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of rating methodologies and tools.
- Maintain high levels of productivity and quality while working remotely.
Required Skills
- Extensive knowledge and passion for films and TV shows, particularly content within the Netflix library.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow complex guidelines and apply them consistently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
- Proficient with basic computer applications and internet navigation.
Preferred Qualifications
