Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Pharmacy Customer Service Representative for a 100% remote position, specializing in written support. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our members, providers, and pharmacists, assisting them with pharmacy-related inquiries exclusively through digital channels such as chat and email. You will be responsible for providing accurate information, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring a positive and seamless experience for all our stakeholders. This is a crucial role for individuals who excel in written communication, problem-solving, and have a passion for helping others from the comfort of their home office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to all pharmacy-related inquiries via chat and email, providing clear and concise information.
  • Research and resolve member, provider, and pharmacist issues regarding prescription status, benefits, claims, and general pharmacy services.
  • Accurately document all interactions and resolutions in our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA for patient confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex issues when necessary.
  • Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge to effectively assist customers.
  • Identify and suggest improvements to our written support processes and knowledge base.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional written communication and grammar skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and empathetically.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, including CRM software, email, and chat platforms.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment, managing multiple priorities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A quiet, dedicated home office space with reliable high-speed internet.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience, ideally in a pharmacy, healthcare, or insurance setting.
  • Familiarity with medical and pharmacy terminology.
  • Experience with remote work environments.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
