Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Home Studio Consultant to join our remote team. In this flexible role, you will provide expert guidance and technical assistance to creators looking to optimize their home studio setups. You will help our community leverage Adobe products effectively, troubleshoot technical challenges, and recommend best practices for audio, video, lighting, and workflow efficiency. This is a unique opportunity to directly impact the success of content creators across various platforms, ensuring they have the best possible environment for producing high-quality content.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote one-on-one consultations to creators on home studio setup and optimization.
- Offer expert advice on hardware (cameras, microphones, lighting, interfaces) and software (Adobe Creative Cloud applications) integration.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to audio, video, streaming, and recording within a home studio environment.
- Develop and share best practices for content creation workflows, including pre-production, production, and post-production.
- Educate creators on leveraging Adobe products (e.g., Premiere Pro, Audition, Photoshop, Lightroom) for enhanced studio output.
- Create and update documentation, tutorials, and resources for common studio challenges and solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in content creation technology, software, and creator platforms.
- Collect feedback from creators to inform product development and support improvements.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in video production, audio engineering, or content creation.
- Expert-level proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, especially Premiere Pro and Audition.
- Strong understanding of home studio hardware, including cameras, lenses, microphones, audio interfaces, lighting, and green screens.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to PC/Mac systems, software, and hardware configurations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple consultations and projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated passion for supporting creators and fostering a creative community.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Audio Engineering, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Experience with live streaming platforms (Twitch, YouTube Live, etc.) and related software (OBS, Streamlabs).
- Familiarity with network configurations and internet connectivity optimization for streaming/uploading.
- Previous experience in a consulting, support, or training role within the creative technology industry.
- Active portfolio of self-produced content showcasing home studio expertise.
