Job Description

We are seeking meticulous and efficient Inventory Pickers to join our fulfillment center team in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a structured, clean indoor environment and prefer focused, independent work. You will be responsible for accurately selecting products from warehouse shelves, ensuring they are ready for packaging and shipment, all while maintaining our high standards of safety and efficiency. This role involves minimal direct customer interaction and no phone duties, allowing you to concentrate fully on your picking tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick customer orders from designated locations within the warehouse.
  • Utilize handheld scanners to ensure correct item identification and quantity.
  • Organize picked items for efficient packing and shipping processes.
  • Operate equipment such as pallet jacks or carts safely (training provided).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity goals.
  • Perform quality checks on items to ensure they meet standards before moving to the next stage.

Required Skills

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying items up to 15 kg (33 lbs).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Reliable and punctual.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment is a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems or handheld scanners.
  • A strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
