Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and professional Local CDL-A Drivers to join our dynamic team in Riverside, CA. This is an exciting opportunity for drivers who want a consistent schedule, home daily routes, and a reliable weekly guarantee. As a Local CDL-A Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods within a designated local service area. We prioritize safety, excellent customer service, and ensuring our drivers have a balanced work-life.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (Class A CDL) over local routes.
- Transport various types of freight to and from designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Maintain accurate logs and records as required.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Ensure timely delivery and pick-up of freight.
- Assist with loading and unloading freight as needed (LTL specific).
Required Skills
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight.
- Familiarity with local Riverside and Southern California routes.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
