Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Bootcamp Assistant to join our dynamic team in Etobicoke. This unique full-time role offers early morning shifts, allowing you to have your afternoons free to pursue personal interests, education, or other commitments. You will play a crucial part in ensuring our bootcamp programs run smoothly, providing support to lead instructors, and creating an energetic and positive environment for our members. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about fitness, with strong organizational skills and a desire to contribute to a thriving community.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrive early to assist with bootcamp setup, including equipment arrangement and readiness checks.
- Support lead instructors during bootcamp sessions, demonstrating exercises and providing hands-on assistance to participants.
- Engage with members, fostering a positive and motivating atmosphere.
- Assist with equipment breakdown, cleaning, and storage after each session.
- Monitor participant form and safety, escalating any concerns to the lead instructor.
- Help manage participant check-ins and basic administrative tasks.
- Ensure the training area remains clean, organized, and safe for all participants.

Preferred Qualifications
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Previous experience in a fitness-related role or customer service.
- Post-secondary education in Kinesiology, Fitness, or a related field.
- Group fitness certification (e.g., CanFitPro, ACE).
